Three bedroom, two bath, 2,000 square foot home in quiet south Redlands neighborhood. Large, private lot with native (no maintenance) landscaping in the front and raised beds (just built) for vegetable or flower gardening in the back. We purchased our home from the original owner (1958 ranch) in 2003 and have done extensive updating since then, including all new flooring (bamboo and tile), new ceilings (popcorn is gone), archways between rooms, new appliances (frontloading washing machine and gas dryer, energy efficient dishwasher, refrigerator and gas stove), all new windows (they are not vinyl), updated electrical, new lighting, new energy efficient AC/heating unit with HEPA filter, and painted in earth tones throughout. We are painting the outside next week and doing a few other minor repairs so that our home will be in sale-ready condition. This is our home, it is not a rental property. We are moving north and are looking for a family, couple or single professional who will enjoy our home and treat it as if it were their own. Ideally, we are looking for a long-term situation and would prefer a one-year lease. We are in the Mariposa, Moore and REV school districts. We are listing our home for rent at what we believe is about $400 below market value because my husband will be staying in the mother-in-law suite on the property three or four nights each week. The suite is completely private from the main house; we have had someone living there since we built it in 2004 and unless their car is out front, we can't tell whether they are home or not. The suite will be available to you as guest quarters on arranged weekends and holidays for visiting family or friends. It is one bedroom, one bathroom (with a claw foot tub) and kitchen with tile countertops and Saltillo tile flooring throughout. It is 700 square feet. We can make our house available as early as July 1 and will prorate any portion of July at $1,500 per month so that you can begin to move in gradually at a reduced rate if you would like. Rent will be $1,900 per month beginning August 1, due at the first of the month. We are asking for a $1,500 security deposit upon lease signing. You will be responsible for utilities. The house is wired for FiOS high speed internet and digital television.
